hanoi-based experimental composer, multi-instrumental performer, and mixed-media artist who trained in piano and composition at the hanoi conservatory before pursuing advanced studies in cologne. in 2012 she founded dom dom, vietnam's first independent centre dedicated to contemporary and experimental music, and organises the biennial hanoi new music festival. her internationally recognised work develops a distinctly vietnamese sonic identity in dialogue with global experimental traditions, earning recognition among forbes vietnam's 50 most influential women in 2019. dom dom artists have performed at mot+++ in saigon.
