thy tran (b. 1988) is a vietnamese-australian visual artist and photographer living and working in saigon. a graduate of monash university's mada faculty in melbourne, she returned to saigon in 2015 and developed a photographic practice centered on candid and staged portraiture, with a sustained focus on the lgbtqia+ community.
