Maria Sowter is a writer and curator born in London in 1991 who has been based between Ho Chi Minh City and London since 2015. Holding an MA in Art & Society from Utrecht University, she has worked in curatorial and organizational roles for MoT+++, a.Farm, and the Nguyen Art Foundation. Her artistic practice develops a methodology of collaborative research performance, using group event formats to draw out collective yet polyphonic voices.
