hoàng minh đức is a hanoi-based performance artist and co-founder of phụ lục (the appendix group), a performance collective established in 2010. phụ lục is known for durational, repetitive performances employing allegorical everyday objects in abstractly staged settings, using minimal gestures to evoke social concerns. the group participated in MoT+++'s performance plus 2018 residency.
