canadian composer and performer with a doctorate in music composition from the university of british columbia. has lived and worked in vietnam, germany, thailand, and guatemala, including as head of performing arts at international schools in saigon. performed with the ho chi minh city conservatory of music and pursues an increasingly improvisational practice alongside conventional composition.
