experimental music and performance collective whose name traces back to the 2006 dom dom performance festival organised by artist trần lương in hanoi. the network became the foundation for dom dom center for experimental music, founded in 2012 by composer and multi-instrumentalist trần kim ngọc as vietnam's first independent institution dedicated to experimental music and its collaborations with other art forms. dom dom artists have performed at mot+++ in saigon and across hanoi through concerts, residencies, and the biennial hanoi new music festival.
