đỗ nguyễn lập xuân (b. 1986, ho chi minh city) is an artist working across sculpture, drawing, installation, performance, and time-based media. her practice is underpinned by belief in the intangible connections between people; her work explores the tacit ambiguity of selfhood as it operates in both mind and environment, inviting viewer participation in sensory experiences that open intimate dialogues. she is a scientia phd candidate at the university of new south wales (unsw sydney), where her research explores 'voices' across themes of liminality, identity, displacement, and marginalisation. she has exhibited at sàn art and the factory contemporary arts centre in ho chi minh city. participated in MoT+++'s performance plus program.
