ho chi minh city based artist lapxuan donguyen gives a presentation of her practice, which comprises performance, installation, video and painting. often using durational performance as a point of departure, lap xuan takes a minimalist formal approach to explore the tensions between the individual and collective experience. she holds an MA from UNSW art & design and a BA from nanyang university of fine art and has exhibited and performed extensively in vietnam and internationally. this informal presentation lasts 45 minutes and is presented in vietnamese with english interpretation. sunday, june 10, 5:30pm – 7:00pm. free entrance.
