the fourth heARTalk was hosted at the soon-to-be-demolished riverside painting studio of andrew newell walther, a-lát-xca.
honored guest: ông ba chúc. for more than four decades, ba chúc has lived on the saigon river near bình lợi bridge, keeping watch over the water with his wife. together they have pulled hundreds of people from the river, most of them people who had jumped from the bridges, and recovered many more who could not be saved. he has never accepted payment, and local authorities have honored him repeatedly for his work.
