My practice explores the relationship between the human and non human, the temporal and the eternal. Questioning concepts of presence, absence, and structures of time, and our connections to them.

Looking at the relationship between the natural and supernatural, exploring connections between human and non-human forces. An ongoing body of work, titled ‘Mediums (2020-ongoing),’ is part of a singular project that repeats itself endlessly across different times and
environments.

The ‘form’ recurs throughout my works as a ‘universal form’ not associated with a specific time, transcending concepts of space and boundaries. The ‘form’ can be viewed as a single entity, without a beginning or end.

This series involves the reconfiguration of photographs of this ‘form’ from my past public and external interventions and from previous works that may or may not exist anymore, into newly constructed environments. Each work is a continuation of what came before.

These images are collaged into multi-layered landscape works composed of found images, stock photos, photography, and 3D renderings. They are then overlaid with new enamel paintings, grounding the same ‘form’ in this reality.

They are UV printed onto plexiglass that appears in constant change, responding to and activated by light, space, and the presence of people, animals, and others. The shifting appearance resists a static visual form.

My practice views time, environment, the living, and the non-living, as all in a constant state of flux. Boundaries—between past, present, and future, and between beings and non-beings—are fluid, interwoven, and simultaneously present.

This explores the relationship between time, the porous nature of place, reality, and both the living and the inanimate.
