Julia Weiner (exxonnubile) is an emerging artist based in Vancouver specializing in wearable and sculptural works crafted from latex and nylon hosiery. She has been self-teaching and experimenting with latex since 2020. She started making latex garments for her own use after noticing a gap in the market for pieces that aligned with her style and desires, then eventually began accepting commissions from others as the gooiest. Her experimental art practice is influenced by her interest in fashion and fetish rituals, and fueled by an enduring preoccupation with gooey textures and novel sensations.
