Bert Ackley is a visual artist and amateur archivist based in Ho Chi Minh City. He created and currently runs the Vinatapes project, which is an archive of dated Vietnamese media, focusing on home videos recorded on analog camcorders. He prepares his visual work using media and gear found at junk markets and uses CRT TVs and a 1990s video mixer to provide a base for various types of feedback effects combined with different input sources.
