Scott Anderson

Scott Anderson is an artist based in Australia. His art practice is concerned with exploring painting, collage and sculpture, working collectively as a hybridised practice. Through his studio work Scott’s research investigates architecture, place/non-place, transition/flux, construction/deconstruction and how cultural identities can influence one’s understanding of place. When creating work, Scott will often use locally reclaimed materials and is not concerned with a preconceived outcome but prefers to develop “a call and response” methodology, allowing each piece to develop organically, taking on a life of its own.
