To celebrate the soft launch of A. Farm—a new artist residency program in Ho Chi Minh City, jointly run by the Nguyen Art Foundation, MoT+++, and Sàn Art—this is an open call invitation to ANY and ALL visual artists working in Ho Chi Minh city to participate in the group exhibition “all animals are equal.”
In the spirit of friendship and equality, artists working in any medium, at any point in their career—whether professional or non-professional, young or old, emerging or established—are invited to bring 1-3 artworks, and to install them anywhere they wish at the A. Farm residency complex. Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Some possible locations where artists may install their work include the studio spaces, the residential spaces, and the exhibition hall/event space (see photos in pinned post).
Video artists may submit videos to be included in a group screening. The opening party will also feature a Kirigami workshop, artists’ performances in the studio building, drinks served by Cu Ru bar, and a series of sound art performances to close out the evening. This is an opportunity for the diverse art community of Saigon to come together and share their work in an atmosphere of egalitarian acceptance. Participating artists will be announced as they confirm.
This event is partly sponsored by Institut français & Villa Saigon.
